For those looking to improve their skills as jazz bassists, i offer teaching out of my home in Sausalito or i can come to you if it's not too far.

I have an organic, individual approach to teaching that allows the student to develop their own voice and express their own individuality through music.  I will teach you how to walk a bass line, read chord changes and improvise in a jazz style.  I can teach you on electric or upright, and help you transition from electric to upright, which i've done for many students.
